Dr. Mohammed Yousef founded Nofal Scientific Inc. after a career that spans pharmaceutical industry leadership, academic research, and customer-facing scientific innovation.
He most recently led method development for plasma-derived therapeutics at CSL Behring, and before that served as Director of Vaccine and Large Molecules Analytical Development at Elanco Animal Health, where he built and led a global team delivering validated assays for biologics and vaccine products to regulatory authorities in the US and EU.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Yousef spent nearly two decades at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Senior Field Application Scientist, developing new applications in Surface Plasmon Resonance and training scientists across industry and academia worldwide. He began his career establishing the Biophysics Core Facility at the University of Chicago, equipping it with state-of-the-art instrumentation for biomolecular characterization.
He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and has published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry, AIChE Journal, and Analytical Biochemistry.
